1. Using Circuit
By using circuit.techshorts.io you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What Circuit provides
Circuit by TechShorts is a directory of B2B tech events. We list events and link to each organizer. We do not organize or host the events, and we do not sell tickets. When you register, you do so on the organizer's own site, under the organizer's own terms.
3. Event information
We take event details from organizers' public pages and check dates against the organizer's own site before an event is listed. Dates, venues and formats can still change, and an event can be postponed or cancelled. Always confirm with the organizer before you book travel or pay for anything. The short lines we write, including "You'll leave with" and "You'll meet", describe what the organizer's page says. They are not a promise by the organizer or by us, and a listing is not an endorsement or a recommendation to attend.
4. Featured listings and links
Some listings may be featured placements paid for by the organizer. Links to such events carry the sponsored link attribute. We are not responsible for organizers' claims or for what you find on their sites.
5. Reminders, calendar files and feeds
If you ask for a reminder, we email you a week before the event and the day before. You can unsubscribe at any time from any reminder. Calendar files and feeds are provided as they are. If an event changes after you have saved it, your calendar may not update, so check the event page.
6. Listing an event
If you submit an event, you confirm that:
- you are the organizer, or you are authorised to submit it for the organizer;
- the information is accurate and the official page you give is the organizer's own; and
- you are happy for us to show the facts of the event, in our own words, on Circuit.
Submitting does not guarantee a listing. We may edit, decline or remove a listing at any time, and we use your contact email only to follow up on the submission.
7. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- try to disrupt or overload the site;
- submit false events, spam or other people's email addresses through the forms; or
- collect content in bulk with automated tools, other than normal search-engine indexing and feed readers.
8. Ownership
The site, its design and the text we write belong to us or our licensors. Event names, organizer names and logos belong to the organizers. Pictures on event pages are either supplied from our image library or drawn by us as illustrations; they are not photographs of the event unless a credit says so. You are welcome to link to the site.
9. Third-party links
Circuit links to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. No warranty
Circuit is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including accuracy, completeness and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site, including costs from an event that changes or is cancelled.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
